Overall Responsibilities:
  • Interfacing with MHN to monitor issues related to quality management, utilization management and service performance.
  • Working collaboratively with MHN on peer review initiatives by reviewing data to help identify best practices and to examine over utilization of behavioral health care services.
  • Overseeing and providing input to MHN for the development and implementation of initiatives and future goals.
  • Keeping behavioral health practitioners and organizations up to date on issues statewide and national issues that affect their practices.
  • Working collaboratively with Health Net and MHN related to the co-management of medical and behavioral health issues.
