Kenneth Lalime
Executive Director
|
|
Ken is a registered pharmacist with over twenty-five years of postgraduate health care experience including ownership, clinical, and management positions in a wide variety of organizations and situations. Ken is responsible for the overall strategic direction, business development and financial growth of the organization and serves as a liaison to the IPA Board of Directors as well as the IPA’s strategic business partners.
"Key to the long term success of the health care system will be the partnerships and opportunities that are formed between business and medicine. My goal is to enhance these opportunities while addressing the needs of physicians as well as other health care market place stakeholders".

Kenneth L. Sacks, M.D., F.A.C.P.
Medical Director

Dr. Sacks received his Medical Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Society. His post graduate training in Internal Medicine, Oncology and Hematology were at UCLA and the NIH/NCI. Before joining CSMS-IPA as its Medical Director, Dr. Sacks practiced Internal Medicine, Oncology and Hematology in Fairfield, CT. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Patient Centered Medical Home, Quality Improvement and Evidence Based Guidelines represent his major areas of responsibility.

Edna Wells, CCS-P, CMPE
Director of Operations

Edna brings more than twenty years of leadership experience in health care management with a concentration in network development, health plan operations and provider engagement. Edna has an in-depth knowledge of the Connecticut payer market, especially Commercial and Medicare Advantage plans with a focus on physician compensation programs and network contracting initiatives. Edna has been instrumental in helping physician practices adapt to pay for performance programs, Medicare surplus-sharing models, Health Information Technology implementation, coding compliance programs as well as other practice based initiatives.
Edna is a certified coder and a member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Edna has earned the professional designation of Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) from the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE), the certification body of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).

Tracy Belbusti, RN, CPC
Director of Clinical Programs

Tracy is a registered nurse with more than 15 years experience in healthcare; working in a hospital, physicians office as well as managed care settings. She has worked as the lead on the development of internal technology issues including database management and website development. Tracy manages clinical programs overseen by the Clinical Care Management Committee (CCMC) and maintains the IPA website and newsletter. Tracy is a Certified Professional Coder and helps IPA practices maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Pattie Mastriano
Outreach & Administrative Coordinator

Pattie has twenty five years combined service with the CSMS-IPA and the Connecticut State Medical Society (CSMS). Pattie’s knowledge of the organizations and physician network lends to her ability to be a resource for the IPA physicians and liaison between the varieties of organizations in the health care market place. Pattie enjoys applying her organizational skills to support CSMS-IPA physicians and management in planning various organizational events in a statewide capacity. In addition, Pattie is responsible for corporate office functions including accounts receivable and payable and legal document coordination.

Cindy Agosto
Network Coordinator

Cindy has been in the administrative field of health care for thirteen years. For three years she was in the marketing and sales area. Cindy has been with the CSMS-IPA for the past ten years, where she provides support to IPA physicians and their practices in key areas related to documentation and program requirements. She also triages calls to be sure they are directed to the appropriate department and that responses are made in a timely manner.

Evens Borno

Evens is a motivated and organized IT professional with experience in analyzing, designing, and implementing business process improvements. He has an Associate of Science degree in Information Technology and a Certification in Web development. Evens is committed to providing impeccable customer service and through the acquired knowledge of IT functions and processes delivers timely support to the analysis team.
